What are AI influencers? Virtual personalities with their own social media presence that engage human audiences with a blend of AI and carefully crafted character design.

These digital darlings, like Lil Miquela and Shudu (the world’s first “digital supermodel”), aren’t just pixels and programming, though. They have the potential to reshape the entire marketing industry.

Don’t believe us? With over 2.6 million Instagram followers, Lil Miquela blurs the lines between reality and AI. And Noonouri? She even has a record deal with Warner Bros!

And guess what? Consumers already trust them. In fact, 34% of consumers trust influencer content created by AI the same as human-made content.

While the first “virtual influencer” can be traced back to Japan’s Kyoko Date in 1996, AI influencers represent an evident shift in marketing practices.
